Judith "Judie" K. Sokoloff, 80, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the HPH Hospice Care Center.
Survivors include five children, Donna, Michael, and Todd, all of Boonville, N.Y., and Paul of Big Bear Lake, Calif., and Elaine of Clear Lake Shores, Texas; a sister, Phyllis R. Kent D.O. of Trenton, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Joseph M. Kassay, 85, of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 13, in Tampa.
He is survived by his family.

William A. Pyott, 97, of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 13.
Survivors include his wife, Melita; a daughter, Gail; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Daniel R. Ferrell, 78, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Nov. 14, at the HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born in Telogia and moved to this area 17 years ago from Killeen, Texas.
Mr. Ferrell was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran and a member of New Hope Baptist Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta; two daughters, Gail Dishman of Calimesa, Calif., and Kathie Cawthon of Cathedral City, Calif.; two brothers, Richard Ferrell of Silverhill, Ala., and Arthur Ferrell of Robertsdale, Ala.; five sisters, Joyce Shiver of Brooksville, Nora Frances McLaughlin of Kissimmee, Lessie Brewton of Robertsdale, Ala., Terry Smith of Fair Hope, Ala., and Arrie Purdell of Ponce DeLeon; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lauretta B. Cook, 87, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Nov. 14, at her home. She was born in Carthage, Ohio, and moved to this area eight years ago from Clearwater.
Mrs. Cook was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, James; a son, Jerry of Brooksville; two brothers, Robert Windland of Athens, Ohio, and Gene Windland of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Blondena Windland of Athens and Margaret Parker of Pomeroy, Ohio; and two great-grandchildren.
