Area Deaths

Mary A. Congdon, 92, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Nov. 10. She was born in Romeo, Mich., and moved to this area 27 years ago.
Mrs. Congdon was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Shady Hills.
Survivors include a son, Paul of Capac, Mich.; two daughters, Sue Congdon of Travis City, Mich., and Sandra Griffin of Shady Hills; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Johnson Allen 'Diamond' Jacobs, 50, of Albany, N.Y., formerly of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Oct. 22. He was born in Harlem, New York.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Crummie and stepfather Colie Crummie of Spring Hill; three sisters, Linda Johnson of Kansas, Pamela Johnson and Tracy Thomas, both of Spring Hill; two brothers, David Burgess Johnson and Kevin Johnson, both of Spring Hill; an aunt, Audrey Griffin of Ridge Manor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
