Reform needed

I was very disappointed that our representative, Ginny Brown-Waite, did not support the health reform legislation (HR 3962) that passed late Saturday night.

This shouldn't be a Republican vs. Democrat issue, because health care reform is a needed step toward reducing the deficit, and the insurance industry won't change unless forced to do so. It's important to assure coverage for those without insurance as well as lower costs for families and businesses.

I hope others will join me in speaking out to show strong support that reform is needed now and that we want Congress to pass the Affordable Health Care for America Act ASAP.
