History will remember

» 1 Comment | Post a Comment

As a nurse for 15 years, I have seen the devastating effects of lack of or inadequate insurance coverage. Many people in Central Florida have fallen through the cracks and have no where to turn.

It is vital that everyone have access to health care. It's not a privilege; it's a basic human right.

I urge U.S. Rep. Ginny Browne-Waite, R-Brooksville, to step up and do the right thing for Floridians, and quit with all this negativity. It's time for politics to take a back seat to doing what is right.

History will remember those who stood in the way of progress, as will the voters in her district.
