AREA DEATH

Bettie J. Dury, 82, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, May 6, at Spring Hill Health and Rehab. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to the area eight years ago from Lady Lake.
Mrs. Dury was a retired accountant for the railroad and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; sons, Joseph G. Sr., of North Carolina, Thomas, of Indiana; Donald, of Missouri; Michael of California; daughters, Linda Sue Wiley and Mary Dury, both of North Carolina, and Cheryl Dury, of New York; brother, Robert Stapleton, of Toledo; sister, Joanne Harris, of Toledo; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
