A traffic stop for suspected DUI yielded three grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Friday.
The driver of the car, pulled over on Powell Road, just west of Saturn Road, wasn't driving drunk. But the glass pipe sticking out of the back of the passenger seat caught the deputy's eye and prompted a search of the car.
The pipe residue tested positive for meth and further search also turned up a bag holding three grams of the drug, a report states. More pipes were found in the trunk of the car and a search of the passenger's pockets turn up the prescription pills oxycodone, a report states.
The passenger, Nicholas Fugate, 27, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a drug without a prescription and drug paraphernalia.
