The ACLU Agenda

In regards to Deron Mikal's recent letter in which he praises the ACLU; if only I could share Mr. Mikal's enthusiasm.

The ACLU of today is not the organization it once was. The organization that once stood for the rights of the individual is now an organization driven by an ultra-left agenda. It is an organization that is anti-religious and will not be happy until religion is driven out of our nation and have Christmas removed as a federal holiday. In many cases the ACLU is even against allowing a moment of silence in schools because a student might use it to pray.

The ACLU has defended pedophile groups such as NAMBLA. For those of you who don't what NAMBLA is, the initials stand for the North American Man-Boy Love Association.

The ACLU has championed the cause of illegal immigrants, wanting them to travel across our borders freely and not be deported by the U.S. government or for the U.S. to build a fence to protect our borders.

Yes, the ACLU says that stand up for the civil rights for the individual, but those days are long gone. The only civil rights they will defend are those who follow their agenda.
