Helen J. Nicholas, 76, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 6. She was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to this area nine years ago from Maryland.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth E.; a daughter, Linda Dombkowski of Fort Myers; a son, Kenneth J. of Ocoee; and two grandchildren.

Franklin A. Disimone, 61, of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 6.

Shirley Staats, 71, of Brooksville, died Saturday, March 7.
Survivors include her husband, David; three sons, David II, Lenny and Danny; two daughters, Cindy and Donna; three brothers; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Guentelle "Jack" McGehee, 86, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 8, at Forest Oaks Assisted Living Facility. He was born in Paris, Tenn., and moved to this area 29 years ago from Cicero, Ill.
Mr. McGehee was a retired steel worker, World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of Mariner Boulevard Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Jo Smith and Joanie Buczek; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Niels Hansson, 89, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, March 8, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Denmark. .
Survivors include his wife, Emma; three sons, Garfield Hansson of Spring Hill, and John and Ralph Hansson, both of Greenville, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

Florence Songero, 94, of Brooksville, died Monday, March 9, in Spring Hill. She was born in Gretna, La., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Lockport, Ill.
Mrs. Songero was the owner/operator of a beauty shop and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Josephine Joy Osborne of Spring Hill; and three grandchildren.
