AREA DEATHS

Ruth Falloni, 93, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, March 5, at the Brooksville Health Care Center. She moved to the area more than a year ago from Flushing, N.Y.

Ms. Falloni was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society and was an Episcopalian by faith.

Survivors include her son, Mark Johnson, of Spring Hill; daughters, Suzanne Engel, of Palm Desert, Calif., and Barbara O'Conner, of Florida; nine grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Gabriel A. Vargas, 42, of Brooksville, died Thursday, March 5, at his home. He was born in Puerto Rico and moved to the area one year ago.

He is survived by his family.
