Free Tax Service

Teachers and school employees can get their taxes done for free during Liberty Tax Service, "Educator Appreciation Days." They are saluting teachers, school employees and bus drivers from March 9-15. Scholarship Opportunities

Ladies Auxiliary to VFW 9236, Hernando Beach is offering scholarship opportunities to high school age students by entering the American Patriotic Creative Art Contest. This is open to students in grades 9-12, home schooled, private or public school. This year's theme is "Patriotism." More information is available under www.ladiesauxvfw.org under programs. There will be a $100 1st place scholarship, $4,500 at the state level and up to $10,000 nationally. Deadline for entries at local level is April 15. For information, call Kathy, 352-596-9236.
