AREA DEATHS

Karl Lepik, 92, of Spring Hill, died Monday, Feb. 23. He was born in Estonia and moved to this area 15 years ago.

Mr. Lepik was a member of the New York City District Council of Carpenters.

He is survived by his wife.

Peter Halecky, 89, of Masaryktown, died Thursday, Feb. 26, at his home. He was born in Slovakia and moved to the area in 1939.

Mr. Halecky was Roman Catholic. He retired after 30 years as a custodian for the New York City School System.

Survivors include his wife, Anna; sons, Peter, of New York; and Dwayne, of Hawthorne, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
