A deputy was cut by flying glass when a woman in the back seat of his cruiser kicked out the window.

The suspect, Danielle Mullins, was about to be taken to the county jail on a domestic battery charge on Friday. She reportedly struck her live-in boyfriend four times with a shoe during an argument over a dirty diaper inside their home at 7176 Cyclops Drive.

While sitting in the back seat of the cruiser, Mullins, 26, kicked out the window and the flying glass caused minor cuts to both the deputy's arms, a report states. Mullins was further charged with battery on an officer.

Two teens arrested in rowdy traffic stop

BROOKSVILLE Two teenagers were arrested Sunday during a rowdy DUI traffic stop.

Deputies pulled over a black Ford pickup around 3 a.m. after a motorist reported it was weaving on Spring Lake Highway. The 17-year-old driver failed field sobriety tests and was led to a traffic deputy's cruiser, a report shows.

Meanwhile, the DUI suspect's 16-year-old girlfriend began to scream and "make scene," and eventually pushed a deputy with her hand, according to a report. After multiple efforts to handcuff the girl, she was "escorted" to the ground and taken to the county jail on charges of battery on an officer and resisting arrest without violence.

While deputies wrestled with her, the DUI suspect reportedly kicked out a back seat window. Deputies rushed over and when they removed him from the car he began to run. He was placed on the ground to keep from fleeing, a report states.

The teen, who provided a blood alcohol level of .013 and .011, was arrested on charges of DUI, criminal mischief, resisting an officer without violence and driving without a license. Neither is being named because of their age.
