Public's help sought finding absconded sex offender

Authorities are asking for the public's help finding an absconded Jacksonsville sex offender believed to be in Brooksville.

William Blair Wise, 46, arrived here by bus this week and is possibly staying in an area where other homeless people congregate, according to the sheriff's office.

Wise is wanted for violating sex offender registration and has other arrest warrants pending. He also uses the aliases "Jeffrey Hunter" and "Bill McMillan."

He is described as a white man, standing 6-feet and weighing 260 pounds. He has brown hair, green eyes and tattoos on both arms of cartoons, Christ, hearts and eagle.
