Make Father's Day gift at Girl Scouts event

RIDGE MANOR - Girl Scouts of West Central Florida will host a "Girl Scout Shout!" event from 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow, at Ridge Manor Park located at 34030 Ridge Manor Blvd., off State Road 50 and U.S. Highway 301.

Games, hands-on activities, displays and information on Girl Scouts will be featured.

Elks to offer dads discount

BROOKSVILLE - Elks Lodge 2582 will offer dads a special discount at a breakfast to be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21, at the Lodge located at 14494 Cortez Blvd.

Elk dads, upon presenting a membership card, will receive a free Screwdriver or Bloody Mary cocktail and a dollar discount on the breakfast.

N.Y. Orchestra to perform Father's Day

SPRING HILL - Frankie Dee New York Orchestra will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at VFW Post 10209 located at 14736 Edward R. Noll Drive. Big Band soundswill be performed by 18 musicians and two singers. Free Mardi Gras beads and door prizes will be featured. Ticket cost will be $10 per person for dance only, and $7 per person for special chicken parmesan dinner.

Reservations are required for special dinner.

Open menu is also available.

Gulf Ridge celebrates Father's Day

BROOKSVILLE - Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church will feature the Sunny South Trio (Kelley Looper, Kim McLeod and Billy McLeod) singing at the 11 a.m. service Sunday, June 21, to celebrate Father's Day.
