Gerald H. Jack, 78, of Brooksville, died Saturday, June 13, at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He was born in Hornell, N.Y., and moved to this area 15 years ago from Painted Post, N.Y.
Mr. Jack pastored three churches in New York and one in Puerto Rico. He served on several local, state and national boards related to the Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kristin; three sons, David W. of Kinnelon, N.J., Daniel of Peeksville, N.Y., and Darryl of Woodstock, N.Y.; a daughter, Denise McAdams of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, David E. of Greenville, Ill., and Glenn W. of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Mary K. Supiran of Dansville, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.

Ana R. Mojica, 58, of Brooksville, died Sunday, June 14, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She was born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, and moved to this area three years ago from Maryland.
Mrs. Mojica was a U.S. Army Desert Shield/Desert Storm veteran. She was an aerobics instructor for over 20 years, a personal fitness trainer for five years, a Polynesian dancer for six years, a successful 10K distance runner, a green belt in Judo and a cancer survivor since 1989.
Survivors include her husband, Damian; a son, Damian Mojica II of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, Robert Fuentes of Chicago, Ill., and Rafael Fuentes and Raynaldo Fuentes, both of Tampa; five sisters, Minerva Falcon and Margarita Fuentes, both of Long Island, New York, and Neida Valentin of Brooksville, Maria Colon of New Windsor, N.Y., Flora DeJesus of Burlington, N.J.

Elsa R. Serrano, 77, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 15. She was born in Manhattan, New York.
Mrs. Serrano was an active board member of the Latin American Civic Social Club, and president and vice president of the Flying Tigers Employees Association. She was a Catholic by faith
Survivors include her husband, Marcial; a daughter, Madeline of Indiana; a son, Michael of California; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Joyce Elizabeth Love Chappell, 68, of Waterford, Conn., died Monday, June 15. She was born in Hartford, Conn., and was a winter resident of Brooksville for the past four years.
Mrs. Chappell was a registered nurse, having worked in pediatrics, terminal disease care, and specialized in long-term health care. She retired from Nutmeg Pavilion, New London, Conn. She volunteered on her church's health team and food kitchens in the community.
Survivors include her husband, J. Edward Jr.; two daughters, Elizabeth Anne Chappell of Bloomfield, Conn., and Melissa Love Chappell of Winthrop, Mass.; and a sister, Hope Love Glover of Ocean Isle, N.C.
