Budget workshop set Thursday
BROOKSVILLE - The public is invited to ask questions about the 2009-10 county budget during a 6:30 p.m. workshop Thursday, June 18, at Lorenzo Hamilton Community Center (Kennedy Park), 899 Kennedy Blvd. in Brooksville
Information will be provided on the current status of the budget as a result of the revenue reductions. The county administrator will solicit comments from residents about their priorities for county government services and additional ways expenditures might be reduced.
The feedback received at the workshop will be shared with county commissioners during upcoming budget sessions as they prepare for the July 15 budget submittal date.
