Seek and you shall find
Editor's note: This is in reply to a letter to the editor, "American Catholics must change doctrine" by James T. Woods in the May 17 edition of Hernando Today.
I hope you just haven't gone to church since you quit 20 years ago, because the Catholic church has many more options now than it did 20 years ago.
Some of us have the same ideas as you, so now our Catholic priests get married and have children. It is a far better world today than it was, but you have to look for our Catholic churches. Some are called Polish National, some are called Apostolic Catholic. We are all out there, but you have to seek for your own answers and find the right Catholic church for you - with rules and laws that you can abide by.
I turned to this different style of Catholic church because I wanted to get remarried in a Catholic church and be welcome at our Lord's table. We are all good people with the same needs who respect our Catholic religion and like the fact that our priests have families and a normal family life.
We welcome all Christians at our Lord's table and have all the sacraments the other Catholic churches have - seek and you shall find; ask and you shall be given and forgiven.
