Recently, the county commissioners were asked if they would consider taking a pay cut if the county employees were asked to do so. Four commissioners said yes and one said "taking a pay cut was not an option."
The one against any pay cut was Rose Rocco. The reason she gave was that she spends a lot of money for her and her husband to attend various functions around the county.
Why does she attend all of these affairs? Firstly, for her own personal pleasure and, secondly, she is merely politicking to ensure her re-election. She started doing that about 10 minutes after she was sworn in.
She just doesn't get it, does she? We are in financial trouble, and she wants to get re-elected at our cost.
