Deputies, troopers at risk

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

For some time, I wondered why Ford vehicles do not have working directional signals. Was there any safety recall that Ford drivers must have missed or did not get a letter in the mail telling them that their directional signals need to be tested or repaired?

I noticed that the sheriff deputy vehicles and the Florida state trooper vehicles have inoperable directional signals. I think if you have directional signals that do not work there can be other safety issues with the vehicle.

In a sense, Sheriff Richard Nugent may be putting his deputies on the road with unsafe vehicles. Our deputies and troopers risk their lives in taking care of our citizens, and I hate to see them injured while patrolling in an unsafe vehicle.
