An overcooked dinner earned a Spring Hill man a vicious knock on the head from his angry brother.
The victim turned up at the sheriff's District 2 office on Forest Oaks Boulevard around 2 a.m. on Monday with numerous injuries to his face. He told deputies that his brother had hit him with an unknown blunt object after he burned their dinner, a report shows.
The victim was taken to Oak Hill Hospital where he was treated for a broken nose and given three staples to close a wound on his head. Deputies couldn't find the suspect, Donald Dolan, at the time, but Dolan was home when the victim returned from the hospital.
Deputies went back to 3354 Morrison Way and spoke with Dolan, who confirmed that he attacked his brother because he was "burning down the house," a report states.
Dolan, 56, was charged with aggravated battery.
