It pays to be prepared with an alibi - even if you have to wear it.
Deputies were investigating a possible burglary on the 13000 block of Linden Drive on Thursday when the suspect walked up to the house.
The alleged burglar, Robert Pearson, was wearing a black shirt with white lettering that declared: "I didn't do it," according to a report.
The complainant recognized Pearson as a former friend but said Pearson had no permission to be inside the house. Pearson reportedly admitted to breaking into the house through the rear sliding glass door to get his "stuff."
Pearson, 20, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
