Area deaths

June M. Arnold, 79, of Weeki Wachee, died Thursday, July 9, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Jersey City, N.J.
Ms. Arnold was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Lynn Kennedy, of Brooksville, and Rosemarie Manley, of Leesburg; son, William, of Spring Hill; sister, Barbara Romay, of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

Mary A. "Polly" Gerety, 78, of Weeki Wachee, died Saturday, July 11.
Ms. Gerety was a retired executive secretary for a union.
Survivors include her daughter, Eileen Parlett, of Mays Landing, N.J.; sons, John, of Spring Hill, and Jim, of Hendersonville, N.C.; sister, Lucy Grohman, of Summers Point, N.J.; brothers, James Tague, of King of Prussia, Pa., and Charles Tague, of Escondido, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
