Get Back To Nature With 5K, Fun Walk

The 13th annual Chinsegut Run and Fun Walk will be held Saturday, Feb. 14 at the Chinsegut Nature Center.

Late registration and packet pickup begins at 7:30 a.m. The 5K race starts at 8 a.m. and the one-mile fun walk starts at 8:30.

Registration for the 5K is $15 and $20 after Feb. 6. Registration for the fun walk is $12 and $15 after Feb. 6.

T-shirts picturing swallow-tailed kites will be given to all participants. Unique, hand-crafted awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and top masters male and female finishers, along with top-three awards in age each division for men and women.

On the one-mile fun walk, awards will be given to the top three people identifying the most flagged natural plants.

Chinsegut Nature Center is located 7 miles north of Brooksville on U.S. 41.
