Area Deaths

Betty Ann Calhoun, 64, of Brooksville, died Thursday, Jan. 22, under hospice care. She was born in Louisville, Ky., and moved to the area in 1956 from Kentucky.
Survivors include her family.

Benjamin Maurizio, 80, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Jan. 23, at his home. He moved to the area 20 years ago from his native Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mr. Maurizio was a retired quality control foreman for Pepsi Cola and was a Roman Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Tina; son, Anthony, of St. Petersburg; sister, Marie Vulpi, of Long Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
