Area Death

Lenore Rose, 85, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 3, at Hudson Hospice Care Center. She was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., and moved to the area in 1989 from Torch Lake Michigan.
Mrs. Rose worked as a secretary for Grand Haven Public Schools in Grand Haven, Mich., and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; sons, Willard M., of Kalamazoo, Mich., and David J., of Fort Covington, N.Y.; daughters, Roberta J. Wandel, of Lake City, Mich., and Janet L. Kowchuck, of Homosassa; sister, Mary Lou Stiver, of Gaylord, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
