SPRING HILL - A man with a spoon used to heat up his food one bite at a time and a straw for shooting spitballs was arrested Thursday night outside Wal-Mart.
At least that was his explanation to deputies for the spoon coated in drug residue and a one-inch-long straw found in his pockets, according to a sheriff's office report.
The suspect, Adam Synder, was escorted out of the store on Commercial Way Thursday after a manager found him passed out in the shoe department. Synder, 26, then nodded off at the nearby bus stop, where deputies interrupted his sleep, the report states.
Deputies also searched his shoes and say they found 22 prescription pills. Synder was taken to a hospital to sober up and then to the county jail on charges of trafficking in drugs, possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor drug charge.
