Edward Libell, 40, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Feb. 8, at his home. He was born in Freeport, N.Y., and moved to this area 31 years from New York.
Mr. Libell worked for the Hernando County Utilities Department for eight years.
Survivors include his wife, Christine; two daughters, Kelsey and Emily Libell; two brothers, Robert and William Libell; and four sisters, Janet Cordero, Kathleen Morton, MaryBeth Libell and Margaret Hunt.

William R. "Bob" DeWitt, 69, died Monday, Feb. 10, in Tampa. He moved to this area 46 years ago from Selma, Ohio.
Mr. Dewitt was co-owner and Realtor for Mary Ann DeWitt Realtor of Brooksville, where he was a multimillion producer many times. He was active in the political process of Hernando County and Florida. He chaired the campaign of Bob Graham for Governor and was Chairman of the 5th Congressional District for the Democratic Party for the State. He also served on the State Post Secondary Board of Education and on the Hernando Planning & Zoning Board for many years, serving twice as its chairman. He was appointed to the City of Brooksville Planning & Zoning Board. He received many awards for his dedication to the controlled growth and quality of life in Hernando County including the Realtor Associate of the Year Award.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; two sons, Barry of St Petersburg and Robert of Brooksville; two daughters, Kim DeWitt Paff of Hernando Beach and Larie DeWitt Hensley of Brooksville; a brother, Leo DeWitt of Dunnellon; a sister, Pauline Davis of Yellow Springs, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
