Area Deaths

Dorothy D. Leonard, 89, of Brooksville, died Monday, Feb. 2, at home. She was born in Elmira, N.Y., and moved to this area from Pinellas County.
She is survived by her family.

Bernadine M. Donahue, 83, of Masaryktown, died Friday, Feb. 6, at Hernando Care Center, Brooksville. She was born in Gary, Ind., and moved to this area 17 years ago from Kokomo, Ind.
Mr. Donahue was the owner/operator of Cedar Crest Bowling Lanes.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Jr. and Paul; a daughter, Ellen; and a grandchild.

Betty Ruth Gates, 88, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Feb. 7.

Thomas L. Houk, 60, of Hudson, formerly of Spring Hill, died Monday, Feb. 9, at home. He was born in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Mr. Houk was an investigator for the U.S. Bureau of Engraving/Printing.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny; three daughters, Pamela, Jennifer and Jenna; a brother, James; three sisters, Kay, Paula and Charissa; and four grandchildren.
