Man Bloodied Following Road Rage Incident

SPRING HILL - Deputies discovered a man in a men's bathroom Tuesday at a local funeral home wiping blood from his face.

The victim told them he had been attacked during a "road rage" incident, according to an arrest report.

Authorities responded shortly after 2:30 p.m. to Brewer and Sons Funeral Home at 280 Mariner Blvd. following a 911 call.

Zbigniew Kuziora, 51, was traveling to Spring Hill Regional Hospital suffering from "excruciating pain" due to a kidney stone, deputies said.

He told authorities he changed lanes and observed a man in a Mitsubishi behind him yelling. The driver pulled up beside Kuziora, rolled down his window and yelled profanities at him, according to the report.

Kuziora said he pulled into the funeral home parking lot after he observed the Mitsubishi turn around on the grassy median and speed toward him.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, later identified as Erik Arnold, 26, also pulled into the parking lot at Brewer and Sons and blocked the exit, deputies said.

Arnold poked Kuziora in the face, at which time the latter got out of his vehicle, according to the report.

Kuziora was then punched in the face and suffered a laceration across his nose, deputies said.

A witness corroborated the victim's story.

Arnold later told deputies that Kuziora had taunted him and kicked him and he retaliated.

He was charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and burglary with battery.

The battery charge was filed because he reached into the victim's car to commit the battery, which "met the elements of a burglary," deputies said.

Man Arrested On Aggravated Battery Charge

SPRING HILL - David Adams was walking in the area of his home the night of Jan. 25, when he was attacked by a man wearing a ski mask, deputies said.

Adams told the Hernando County Sheriff's office that Matthew Keller, 18, of Spring Hill, struck him in the head while brandishing a set of brass knuckles.

A man accompanied Keller, but he also wore a ski mask, which prevented Adams from identifying him, according to a report.

The victim told deputies he used to be friends with Keller, but thinks the beating was linked to a previous conflict.

Keller was arrested Tuesday and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was held on a $5,000 bond.
