Suspects Held In Armed Robbery
BROOKSVILLE - Two people were arrested Friday in connection with an armed robbery.
Investigators say Kevin Goldsby Jr., 19, and David Potts, 18, stole $2,000 in cash at gunpoint from the victim early Friday morning. At one point, the victim struggled with Goldsby to wrest away the gun and Goldsby fired a shot, an arrest affidavit states.
Potts pitched in by striking the victim with his fists, investigators allege.
Detectives were led to the suspects by evidence and the victim's statement and the two were charged with armed robbery.
