Where are the journalists?

John Reiniers in his Hernando Today's Sunday column noted "that the Democrats now have power that Republicans have never enjoyed." And that the Democrats "seem not to care about public opinion."

He wrote that "David Brinkley observed: 'The essence of political animal is the pursuit of power.' And these guys have gone wild in its pursuit."

Seems to me these are very cogent arguments.

The Dems seem to be engrossed with the destruction of human life, whether it is aborting babies or getting old folks out of the way by depriving them of medicine or life lengthening medical care and/or devices.

The only segments of our societal life they are interested in preserving are murderers or killers. Want to bet that Hassan at Fort Hood gets off with a 20-to-life sentence with time off for good behavior for killing 13 American military?

The current groups elected by "ACORN" and our American socialists also seem intent on turning our Christian and capitalistic culture into an atheistic and socialistic (perhaps communistic) one.

All passively approved and ignored by American media, Congress and president.

The American media seem to be complicit in the transformation. Have you noticed that it was two kids, barely of legal age, and a conservative Hollywood blogger who accomplished the current expose of "ACORN?" Some media. Where are the Walter Winchells or Drew Pearsons? Where were Maureen Dowd, Sally Quinn, Tom Friedman or Katie Couric?

Well, I guess Glenn Beck is a fair substitute.

You recall, of course, that "ACORN" was President Barack Obama's post-graduate training program. Just the preparation needed to run the country.
