One of the two men charged in the highly publicized shooting at Boyett's Grove accepted a sentence of 25 years in prison.
Damion Childs, 25, was charged in the shooting in October, nearly two-and-a-half years after the crime.
During his arraignment last month, he told Circuit Court Judge Jack Springstead he would represent himself at trial.
On Wednesday, he told Springstead he was ready to plead guilty and accept a 25-year sentence.
Childs pleaded guilty to charges of attempted felony murder, robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
Childs already is serving a life sentence for a prior felony conviction.
His alleged accomplice, Adrian House, 26, had his case continued.
In April 2007, Childs, House and Willie Cliatt III entered Boyett's Grove and robbed James and Kathy Oleson at gunpoint, authorities said.
James Oleson was shot in the chest and spent three weeks in intensive care. Prosecutors said Childs pulled the trigger.
Cliatt was killed four months later in a police-involved shooting in Orlando.
