Area Deaths

Joan K. Hoffman, 76, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Dec. 13, at Crown Pointe of Spring Hill Assisted Living Facility.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; and three sons, Jeff, Kirt and Randy.

Gerard "Bear" Heath, 60, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, in Brooksville. He was born in Allentown, N.J., and moved to this area from Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Mr. Heath worked for Able Body in Brooksville.
Survivors include his wife, Delight; a son, Tracy of Spring Hill; three daughters, Heather Toro, Lisa Heath and Jennifer Daffron, all of Spring Hill; a brother, Larry of Sarasota; and nine grandchildren.

James M. McHugh, 84, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was born in Big Rapids, Mich., and moved to this area 38 years ago from Morley, Mich.
Mr. McHugh was a member of IBEW Local 876 and the American Legion in Morley.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi; four sons, James A., Daniel T., Edward D. and Leo P.; two brothers, Dennis McHugh and Peter McHugh; a sister, Irene Stilson; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Robert T. Hamilton, 85, of Spring Hill, died Thursday, Dec. 17. He was born in San Francisco, Calif.
Mr. Hamilton was a retired television entertainer and choreographer.
Survivors include two daughters, Victoria Hamilton and Katherine Ruebeling, both of Dade City.
