I realize that readers have the right to ask you not to publish Ted Rall's columns because they don't agree with his rants, and you have the right to not print it or just limit it. However, I personally think it's censorship on your part as well as the complainers.
I don't agree with everything the man says, but I like to read his stuff. No, I'm not a socialist, but I do defend their right to speak.
If I was the editor, I'd let him post anytime he wants to. Why? Because I wouldn't be there to decide what readers can read, and I'd also do it to spite the people who would wish to deny them that right.
I notice you would never do that to your conservative writers, but why would you? This is a Republican paper.

Editor's note: The main reasons Ted Rall's columns aren't published each week are because: they are too long - in excess of 1,200 words; we have content that is more pertinent to our readership; or he e-mailed it too late in the week. We will try to publish his column weekly on our Web site at hernandotoday.com under the opinion section on the navigation bar.
