I agree wholeheartedly with George Northrup.
I think before any politician gets a raise, he must publish what he did while in office to merit a raise.
It should then be put on a ballot for the voters to grant a raise if he or she is deserving.
It's time to put a stop to this practice.
Politicians always seem to think they deserve a raise while they cut back on services.
