Police are asking the public's help in locating a missing teen.
Isabel "Izzy" Rosita Mendez Alvarez, 17, was a resident of the New Beginnings Youth Shelter.
She was last seen Aug. 18 in the company of a white female at the Hess station at the corner of Cobb Road and Cortez Boulevard, police said.
She is known to keep her hair straight or curly.
