Fifty-seven marijuana plants and roughly $1,200 in cash were seized by deputies Thursday morning while they were serving a search warrant, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
It was the third such operation discovered by local authorities in the last four days.
Jason Matthew Navarrete, 23, of 3410 Sweetgrass Court, was charged with cultivating marijuana, trafficking marijuana, possession of a residence for manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The search of the house also uncovered a separate air-conditioning system, lights and a dehumidifier used to cultivate the marijuana plants, deputies said.
Navarrete was the sole occupant of the house, said Sgt. Donna Black, a sheriff's spokeswoman.
