Health department cancels Friday walk-in clinic services
SPRING HILL - The Hernando County Health Department will no longer offer "walk-in" primary care services on Fridays beginning Dec. 11 at its Spring Hill clinic location.
The Hernando County Health Department Express Clinic was established in October to provide an alternative for patients with nonemergency type illnesses who might otherwise seek care in local emergency rooms. Department officials are discussing the possibility of reopening the clinic on Saturdays beginning in mid-January.
