Enough is enough

I always read the letters to the editor column as I find many very interesting. I fully agree with Charles Fisher's letter. It was right on.

Why are we sitting back and letting these politicians represent themselves and their party and not the people? We, the people of both parties, elect them into office to represent us. Yet when they get into office they vote along party lines, which is definitely wrong.

The people who are paying them are left out of all their decisions. They vote themselves raises, have their own pension plan, which is obscene, and have their own special health plan. When are we going to unite and put a stop to all this? No wonder so many people run for office; they know a good thing when they see it.

And who pays for all this? You and I. Thanking you for letting me get this off my chest.
