Rita Daskam stands on a chair to put the finishing touches on the Brooksville Garden Club's entry titled "Hats off to Brooksville." The event is sponsored by the church and the Brooksville Woman's Club and features more than 37 Christmas trees decorated by area vendors selling crafts, gifts and baked goods. There will be entertainment with singers and dancers and a visit by Santa Claus.
Food will be available. The free event is open today 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Heffernan Hall at the church located at 20428 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville.
