Times no longer the bible of news

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

I read with interest and concern Jose Lugo's report regarding The New York Times. I, as well as others, can understand the frustration he feels.

I remember that newspaper under the leadership of Ochs. Coming from Manhattan, that paper was our bible. Not anymore.

Vanity Fair, a couple of months ago, ran an expose on that paper and its current editor, who doesn't seem to get the message.

With people reading less and getting the news on television, they are missing out on information that is important.

I have received several requests to get a New York Times subscription, but the answer is "no."
