Area Deaths

Elinor E. Austin, 80, of Brooksville, died on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
Mrs. Austin was born in Medford, Mass. and came to this area in 1972 from Miami. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness in East Brooksville Congregation and was a past member of the Garden Club in Brooksville.

Jack Falin, 62, of Brooksville, died on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
Mr. Falin was borin in Sharon, W. Va. and came to this area 20 years ago. He is survived by loving family and friends.

George Demas, 81, died on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Hernando Hospice Care Center, Brooksville.
Mr. Demas was born in Chicago, Ill. and came to this area 15 years ago from Ariz.He was a Chico Police Officer, member of the Brooksridge Community Golf Association and was Greek Orthodox by Faith.
Survivors include: his wife, Claudia; two daughters, Barbara Bair and Christina Demas; two brothers, Louie and Greg; two grandchildren, Christina and Alexis; and one great-grandchild Machala.

Mary Ann Heckler, 85, died on Friday, April 17, 2009.
Mrs. Heckler was a homemaker and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Edward; two sons, Brian and Steven; daughter, Karen; brother Joseph and five grandchildren.

Pedro Luis Lambert, 30, of Masaryktown, died on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
Mr. Lambert was a student/X-ray technician and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist.
Survivors include: his parents Donald and Maria; brother, Donald C. Lambert III and sister, Linette Guzman.

Audrey W. Denney, 88 of Spring Hill, died on April 20, 2009.
Ms. Denney was a native of Mount Holly, N.J.
