Man accused of molesting 8-year-old girl

A Brooksville man was arrested Sunday on charges that he sexually molested an 8-year-old girl.
The alleged abuse occurred Saturday at the home the victim and her family have shared with the suspect, Paul Moore, 47, for roughly two months.
The victim told a detective that Moore began acting "weird" on Saturday and touched her inappropriately, according to a report.
She also alleged that the suspect kissed her on the mouth and, later that day, touched her again while the family sat at the dinner table, a report states.
The abuse continued into the evening while the victim lay on her bed with her sister watching television, according to the report.
Moore denied any wrongdoing; he was charged with sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation.
