Philip W. Popiel, 54, of Brooksville, died Friday, March 27, at his home. He was born in Somerville, N.J., and moved to this area 53 years ago from Largo.
Mr. Popiel was employed as a landscaper and was a Christian by faith.
He is survived by his brother, Paul T. Popiel of Chicago, Ill.
Arrangements by Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.

Jolene P. Houle, 74, of Spring Hill, died Monday, March 30, at Oak Hill Hospital. She was born in Winslow, Maine.
Mrs. Houle was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Carroll; three daughters, Karen, Kathy and Kimberly; and five grandchildren.
