Elks Lodge To Host End Of Korean War Celebration Sunday

Elks Lodge 2582 will host a Korean War 55th anniversary celebration from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at the Lodge located at 14494 Cortez Blvd. The event will celebrate the end of the Korean War. In addition to the festivities, U.S. Congresswoman Ginny Brown-Waite will present commemorative coins to Korean War veterans. The public is welcome. Also, Korean War veterans interested in receiving a coin to commemorate their service must contact Rep. Brown-Waite's Brooksville office at 352-799-8354 to request an application.
