Clarence C. Freund, 83, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Oak Hill Hospital. He moved to this area 28 years ago from his native McHenry, Ill.
Mr. Freund was a retired construction project manager and attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; a daughter, Victoria Schell of Crystal Lake, Ill.; three sisters, Esther Meyers, Virginia Doherty and Carolyn Freund, all of McHenry; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Nancy Joan Harmon, 80, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, at her home. She moved to this area 11 years ago from her native Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. Harmon was a retired sales clerk for Sears Department Store and a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, James; a son, Craig of Fowler, Ind.; and a sister, Myra Booth of Chicago.

Michael Fritz, 79, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa.
Mr. Fritz was born in Poland and moved to this area 20 years ago from New York.
Survivors include his wife; children; and grandsons.

Betty J. DePew-Flowers, 68, of Brooksville, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, at her home. She was born in Indianapolis, Ind., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Pittsboro, Ind.
Mrs. Flowers was a health caregiver, a member of ABWA, Brooksville, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Georgia and Long Branch Baptist Church, Cairo, Ga.
Survivors include two sons, Walter Joseph Smith Jr. of Brownsburg, Ind., and David Allen Smith of Shelbyville, Tenn.; two daughters, Deborah Alaniz and Patricia Jean DePew, both of Brooksville; a brother, Johnny; two sisters, Connie and Debbie; and eight grandchildren.
