The Elks Lodge will be packed today with health-conscious people from across the county who hope to collect souvenirs and have many of their health-care questions answered at the Fourth Annual Hernando Community Health Fair.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. and last until 2 p.m. and will include live music, free parking and complimentary foods from a variety of local restaurants. The Elks Lodge is located at 14494 Cortez Blvd.
The food vendors will be Boston Cooker, Brooksville Natural Foods, Chick-fil-A, Coldstone, Honey Baked Ham, Marco's Pizza, Mediterranean Pita Grill, Panera Bread, Papa Joe's, Publix and Starbucks.
There will be more than 65 vendors at this year's fair - an increase from last year.
Flu shots cost $30 each and pneumonia shots cost $40 each. Cash is accepted.
The media sponsors are Hernando Today, The Tampa Tribune, NewsChannel8, TBO.com and WWJB 1450 AM.
Presenting sponsors will be Brooksville Lodge 2582, Access Healthcare, Brooksville and Spring Hill Regional Hospitals, Oak Hill Hospital, Quitline, the Nature Coast Community Health Center and the Florida Department of Health.
