Jean Edward Martel, 90, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Nov. 23, at his home. He was born in St. Francois du Lac, Province of Quebec, Canada, and moved to this area 27 years ago from Hudson, N.H.
Mr. Martel was a U.S. postal worker, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, where he was a construction engineer in the Asiatic Pacific Theater building bridges, retired from being a landlord in St. Petersburg, and was a member of the VFW, Pinellas Landlord Association, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annette; two sons, Leonard Martel of Nashua, N.H., and David Syrene of St. Petersburg; two brothers, Bob Martel and Walter Martel, both of Manchester, N.H.; and two sisters, Frances Chouinard of Hooksett, N.H., and Jeanne Landry of Springfield, Ill.

Elnora M. Doty, 91, of Brooksville, died Friday, Nov. 21. She was born in Flint, Mich., and moved to this area 36 years ago.
Mrs. Doty was a retired accountant and a Christian by faith.
Survivors include a son, Randy Doty of Brooksville; two daughters, Patricia Patrick of New Port Richey and Carla Glavey of Brooksville; a sister, Alice Dalrymple of Brooksville; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

George John Poggi, 77, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Nov. 22, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. He was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and moved to this area 31 years ago.
Mr. Poggi was a retired New York City police officer of 120 PCT and a retired police officer of the Belleair Police Department and Indian Rocks Beach Police Department. He was a Korean conflict U.S. Marine veteran and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, George L. Poggi; a daughter, Pamela Poggi Schaer; a brother, John E. Poggi; a sister, Louise Poggi Citrone; and three grandchildren.

Harold M. Juutilainen, 80, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Nov. 22, in Spring Hill. He was born in Cloquet, Minn., and moved to this area 20 years ago from St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. Juutilainen was an electrician for commercial construction, Local 110, a member of the Model Airplane Club and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; two sons, Jim of Port Richey and David of Lino Lakes, Minn.; two daughters, Jane of Eagan, Minn., and Susan of Lakewood, Colo.; a sister, Helen Skogland of Minnetonka, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
