William C. Jackson, 85, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 21, at the Brooksville Care Center. He was born in Mineral Point, Wis., and moved to Florida 22 years ago from Howell, Mich.
Mr. Jackson owned and operated State Wide Caulking Company in Detroit and was a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice; son, Gary, of Livonia, Mich.; daughter, Marcia Simon of Ormond Beach; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Hudson.

Betty R. Romig, 89, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. She was born in Hazelton, Pa., and moved to the area 31 years ago from Houston.
Ms. Romig was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Charles Marvin, of The Philippines; and daughter, Diane Jeanette, of Spring Hill.

Gerald M. Wittenmyer, 72, of Spring Hill, died Friday, Nov. 21, at Oak Hill Hospital. He was born in Bartlesville, Okla., and moved to the area one year ago from Seattle.
Mr. Wittenmyer was a retired minister and Southern Baptist missionary. He was director of missions in Washington state and British Columbia, Canada. He was a U.S. Army veteran and received the Rotary Paul Harris Award.
Survivors include his wife, Osa Marie; sons, Bruce, of Bellevue, Wash., and Terry, of Hollywood; daughter, Jerri Trammel, of Spring Hill; brother, Bob, of The Woodlands, Texas; and five grandchildren.
