The early voting tallies are in and a staggering 34 percent already have submitted their ballots, according to the Hernando County Supervisor of Elections.
The final day for early voting was Saturday. Nearly 3,000 people voted that day.
The total number of early and absentee votes as of the Saturday deadline was 41,839, according to the final results released Sunday.
There are 123,114 total registered voters in Hernando County.
